Antam Gold Price Drops Over the Week, Declining by Rp 56,000 per Gram
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The price of Antam gold has once again shown a fluctuating movement over the past week, with a tendency to weaken compared to the beginning of the week.
According to the official Logam Mulia website, on Monday (23/3/2026), the Antam gold price fell by Rp 50,000 per gram from Rp 2,893,000 to Rp 2,843,000. The Antam gold buyback price also dropped by Rp 50,000 to Rp 2,560,000 per gram.
The gold price movement tended to stagnate on Tuesday (24/3/2026). The Antam gold price remained at Rp 2,843,000 per gram, while the buyback price fell by Rp 80,000 to Rp 2,480,000 per gram.
However, the price was held back again on Thursday (26/3/2026). The Antam gold price did not change and remained at Rp 2,850,000 per gram, while the buyback price dropped by Rp 17,000 to Rp 2,490,000 per gram.
The pressure continued on Friday (27/3/2026). The Antam gold price fell by Rp 40,000 per gram to Rp 2,810,000. The buyback price also plunged by Rp 76,000 to Rp 2,414,000 per gram.
Thus, over the week, the Antam gold price was recorded to have fallen by Rp 56,000 per gram, from Rp 2,893,000 on Monday (23/3/2026) to Rp 2,837,000 on Saturday (28/3/2026).
Meanwhile, the Antam gold buyback price fell by Rp 99,000 per gram over the same period, from Rp 2,560,000 on Monday (23/3/2026) to Rp 2,461,000 per gram.
Buyback is the price received by gold owners when selling back Antam gold to Logam Mulia.
In accordance with regulations, the purchase of gold bars is subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh) of 0.9%. Buyers who provide a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) receive a lower rate of 0.25%. Every purchase is accompanied by an Article 22 PPh withholding slip.
For buyback transactions valued over Rp 10 million, Article 22 PPh is imposed at 1.5% for NPWP holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders, deducted directly from the buyback value.
