Antam Gold Price Drops Again to Rp 2.63 Million
The price of gold bullion produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) fell to Rp 2.633 million per gram on Thursday, down from the previous price of Rp 2.641 million per gram. The buyback price also declined to Rp 2.383 million per gram, a decrease of Rp 10,000 from the previous day. Gold bar prices are subject to change at any time. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions in accordance with Finance Minister Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all gold weights ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams. Reselling gold bars to PT Antam Tbk. with a nominal value exceeding Rp 10 million incurs Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 1.5 percent for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. The PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. For purchases, PPh 22 is set at 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every purchase of gold bars is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding receipt. The latest prices for various gold bar denominations are as follows: 0.5 gram at Rp 1,366,500; 1 gram at Rp 2,633,000; 2 grams at Rp 5,206,000; 3 grams at Rp 7,784,000; 5 grams at Rp 12,940,000; 10 grams at Rp 25,825,000; 25 grams at Rp 64,437,000; 50 grams at Rp 128,795,000; 100 grams at Rp 257,512,000; 250 grams at Rp 643,515,000; 500 grams at Rp 1,286,820,000; and 1,000 grams at Rp 2,573,600,000.
