Antam Gold Price Drops Again to Rp 2.63 Million

The price of Antam gold, as monitored on the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta at 08.50 WIB on Thursday, fell again to Rp 2,633,000 per gram, having previously stood at Rp 2,641,000 per gram.

Likewise, the buyback price of Antam gold also fell to Rp 2,383,000 per gram, down Rp 10,000 from the previous day’s price. The price of Antam gold bullion may change at any time.

Sale transactions are subject to a tax deduction, in accordance with Finance Ministerial Regulation (PMK) No. 34/PMK.10/2017, applicable to all types of gold ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram).

Reselling gold bullion to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp 10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at a rate of 1.5 per cent for holders of a Tax Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 per cent for non-NPWP holders.

PPh Article 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. The tax deduction on gold purchases follows PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, under which the purchase of gold bullion is subject to PPh Article 22 of 0.45 per cent for NPWP holders and 0.9 per cent for non-NPWP holders. Every gold bullion purchase is accompanied by a PPh Article 22 withholding tax slip.

• 0.5 gram gold: Rp 1,366,500.

• 1 gram gold: Rp 2,633,000.

• 2 gram gold: Rp 5,206,000.

• 3 gram gold: Rp 7,784,000.

• 5 gram gold: Rp 12,940,000.

• 10 gram gold: Rp 25,825,000.

• 25 gram gold: Rp 64,437,000.

• 50 gram gold: Rp 128,795,000.

• 100 gram gold: Rp 257,512,000.

• 250 gram gold: Rp 643,515,000.

• 500 gram gold: Rp 1,286,820,000.

• 1,000 gram gold: Rp 2,573,600,000.
