Antam Gold Bullion Drops Again by Rp15,000 to Rp2.63 Million per Gram on Tuesday
The latest price of Antam gold, monitored from the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on Tuesday at 09.07 WIB, experienced another decline of Rp15,000, falling from Rp2,645,000 to Rp2,630,000 per gram. The buyback price for Antam gold also dropped to Rp2,335,000 per gram. However, the price of Antam gold bullion can change at any time. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram). The resale of gold bullion to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 1.5 percent for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. The following are the latest prices for Antam gold bullion denominations recorded on the Logam Mulia Antam website: 0.5 gram: Rp1,365,000; 1 gram: Rp2,630,000; 2 grams: Rp5,200,000; 3 grams: Rp7,775,000; 5 grams: Rp12,925,000; 10 grams: Rp25,795,000; 25 grams: Rp64,362,000; 50 grams: Rp128,645,000; 100 grams: Rp257,212,000; 250 grams: Rp642,765,000; 500 grams: Rp1,285,320,000; 1,000 grams: Rp2,570,600,000. Gold purchase tax deductions are in accordance with PMK Number 34/PMK.10/2017, with gold bullion purchases subject to PPh 22 of 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every purchase of gold bullion is accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding receipt.
