Antam Develops Integrated Liquidity System for Working Capital
PT Antam Tbk (ANTM) is developing the Cash Management System Notral Pooling (CMSysNP) to integrate liquidity management within the Group. The system enables surplus cash in one entity to be optimised to support the working capital funding requirements of other entities without the need for physical fund transfers.
CMSysNP consolidates the cash balance positions of Antam and its Group entities virtually. Through this notional pooling scheme, differences in liquidity positions between entities can be managed more integrally, ensuring that available financial resources within the Group can be utilised for funding needs.
Antam’s President Director, Untung Budiharto, stated that CMSysNP transforms the company’s approach to managing liquidity and funding requirements. “Through SS Solutiva, Antam demonstrates that innovation arises not only from mining operations but also from financial management. CMSysNP transforms liquidity, which was previously scattered across various entities, into a shared financial strength, allowing funding needs to be managed more efficiently, measurably, and with good governance,” Untung said in a press release on Monday (21/9/2026).
The development of the system stems from the previous condition where cash management for Antam and its Group entities was conducted separately. On one hand, there were entities with surplus liquidity, while on the other, there were entities requiring funding for working capital and business operations.
This situation served as the basis for developing an internal funding ecosystem by optimising the financial resources available within the Group. The implementation of CMSysNP was carried out in collaboration with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
Antam’s Director of Finance and Risk Management, Arini Kasmira, stated that CMSysNP was developed to transform the management of working capital funding requirements to be more integrated. “We built CMSysNP not merely to optimise cash positions, but to change how working capital funding needs are managed. By connecting surplus liquidity and funding requirements within the Group, we can utilise existing resources more optimally and build a more integrated internal funding ecosystem,” said Arini.
This liquidity management innovation led the Antam SS Solutiva team to win the Excellence Award and Best Presentation at the International Quality & Productivity Convention (IQPC) 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 14–16 September 2026. The SS Solutiva team consists of Zakiyah Kamila Fitri as Team Leader, Siti Khodijah as Technical Coordinator, and Tiara Putri Novianto as Facilitator. The team operates within Corporate Finance and is supported by the Funding Management Bureau in the implementation of CMSysNP.
The implementation of CMSysNP is also equipped with control mechanisms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure that liquidity management is conducted in a measurable manner and in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance.
Prior to this international recognition, CMSysNP also secured 2nd Place and Best Presentation at the KMI Antam head office level 2025, 2nd Place at the KMA Antam 2025, and the Diamond Award at the XXIX National Quality and Productivity Meeting 2025.
