JAKARTA: Another alleged member of Jamaah Islamiyah (JI)
terrorist network went on trial on Thursday for the deadly hotel
bombing in Jakarta and faces death if convicted under an

Prosecutors accused Masrizal alias Ali Umar alias Mas'ud alias

US-franchised Marriott hotel as a high-profile and easy target.
The blast at the JW Marriott Hotel on Aug. 5, 2003, killed 11
