“As of 29 April 2026, the progress of annual PPh SPT filings stands at 12,639,279 SPTs,” said Director of Dissemination, Services, and Public Relations of the DJP, Inge Diana Rismawanti, in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

Based on taxpayers, the SPT reports come from 10,508,502 individual taxpayers, 1,383,647 non-employee individual taxpayers, 725,390 corporate taxpayers in rupiah, and 1,000 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

The DJP also recorded SPT reports from the oil and gas sector amounting to 7 SPTs in rupiah and 111 SPTs in US dollars.

This number represents SPT reports for the January-December 2025 book year.

Meanwhile, for SPTs with different book years that began reporting on 1 August 2025, the filings come from 20,588 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 34 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

Furthermore, the DJP has noted that the progress of Coretax account activations so far has reached 18,837,611 accounts.

This figure consists of 17,662,350 individual taxpayers, 1,083,692 corporate taxpayers, 91,340 government agency taxpayers, and 229 Electronic System-Based Trading (PMSE) taxpayers.

The filing period for annual SPTs for individual taxpayers has been extended until 30 April 2026 from the original 31 March 2026.

The DJP has also eliminated administrative sanctions for late payments and SPT reporting for individual taxpayers until 30 April 2026.

The DJP emphasises that it will continue to follow up on taxpayers who have not fulfilled their reporting obligations as part of efforts to increase compliance.

Taxpayers who are late in reporting annual SPTs will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of fines, namely Rp100,000 for individual taxpayers and Rp1 million for corporate taxpayers.
