Announcement! TransJakarta Manggarai Stop Closed Starting Today

The TransJakarta bus stop at Manggarai has ceased operations temporarily starting today until a date yet to be determined, in order to support the development of the LRT Jakarta in that area. As an effort to maintain service smoothness, customers can still access TransJakarta services via Temporary Manggarai Stops 1 and 2, which are located along the roadside, ensuring that operations continue normally with adjustments to passenger boarding and alighting points around the Manggarai area. Observations at the site revealed no information regarding the temporary closure of the TransJakarta Manggarai bus stop. Several passengers even admitted they were unaware of the temporary operational closure. Previously, the closure of this stop was planned for 2 May 2026 but was postponed to ensure the readiness of the temporary stops. The closure of the Manggarai stop is occurring alongside the progress of the LRT Jakarta Phase 1B Velodrome–Manggarai construction, which has reached 91.86 percent and is now entering crucial construction work, including the installation of steel box girders (SBG) in the Matraman intersection area. Additionally, the LRT elevated track crossing Jalan Tol Ir. Wiyoto Wiyono has been fully connected. These stages are important parts in completing the LRT project route, targeted to strengthen public transportation connectivity in Jakarta.
