Anies Reveals Didit Prabowo Refused Front Row, Praises His Humility

Jakarta - Former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan revealed the humble attitude of Didit Hediprasetyo during Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Al-Azhar Grand Mosque in South Jakarta on Saturday (21/3/2026). According to Anies, the son of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was once asked to take the front row but refused. Anies assessed that this attitude reflects humility born from good family upbringing. “Mas Didit is a friend to our children as well as to us, and it was a pleasure to pray Eid together earlier. We have always maintained contact,” he stated. Anies added that Didit also showed courtesy by asking about the whereabouts of his wife, Fery Farhati, and then approaching her directly. “He asked, ‘Pak Anies, where is Bu Fery?’ Because he has always been in touch with my wife. Then he came to the back to meet Bu Fery,” he said. He hopes Didit’s attitude can serve as an example, especially for the younger generation.
