Angkot and Water Tanker Truck Clash in Bogor Leaves Three Injured

“The accident resulted in one person with serious injuries and two with minor injuries,” said Acting Head of Traffic Enforcement Unit (Plt Kanit Gakkum) of Bogor Police Traffic Police, Ipda Ares Rahman, on Tuesday (26 May 2026).

The incident occurred on Monday (25 May). Ares stated that the injured were the angkot driver and passengers.

“Based on witness statements, the angkot was travelling from Leuwiliang towards Bogor city,” he said.

Upon reaching the scene, the angkot turned right onto the road before colliding with the water tanker truck coming from the opposite direction.

“The driver, identified as S (40), sustained head injuries and was discharged home,” he added.

Meanwhile, a 60-year-old passenger S suffered head, hand, and left leg injuries. The other passenger, NY (34), had a nasal injury.

“Both passengers were taken to Moh Noh Nur Leuwiliang Regional Hospital,” he concluded.
