Angga Raka's Farewell Moment from the Government Communication Agency

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Deputy Minister (Wamen) of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) Angga Raka Prabowo gave a salute to the employees of the Indonesian Government’s Communication Agency (Bakom RI).

The salute was given by Angga to all employees as he relinquished his position as Head of the Government Communication Agency and handed it over to Muhammad Qodari at the Bakom RI Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

In his speech, Angga conveyed his gratitude and urged the Bakom RI to continue supporting the success of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration.

“Stay spirited, let us succeed in President Prabowo’s government for the greatest benefit of the Indonesian people,” said Angga in his remarks.

“Allow me, Bang, at the beginning, I want to express my thanks to the entire big family of the Communication Agency, to all the teams that have worked so far,” said Angga.

Although the development of Bakom RI over the last seven months had limitations, according to Angga, the current results are very positive.

Angga also felt proud of the team’s performance at Bakom RI.

“We know the challenges are not easy, but honestly, I am proud of my friends. I apologise if my presence is rarely directly among my friends,” he explained.

In addition, Angga Raka also affirmed full support for Qodari’s leadership as Head of Bakom RI.

He is confident that Bakom RI will be even more optimal in communicating government policies to the public.

“And I am confident that under the leadership of Mr Bang Qodari, Mr Q, the Communication Agency will be far better, of course, in guiding and amplifying to the public all that the Republic of Indonesia government has done, the strategic policies that President Prabowo has undertaken,” he stated.

On this occasion, Qodari also expressed his utmost gratitude to Angga Raka for building the Bakom RI institution.

“And alhamdulillah, hopefully, with the achievements and accomplishments already produced by Mr Angga, it will facilitate future communication work,” said Qodari.

It is known that Qodari was recently inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as Head of Bakom RI on Monday (27/4/2026) to replace Angga Raka.

Meanwhile, the position left by Qodari as Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) is filled by Dudung Abdurrachman.
