Andre “The Doctor” Has Two Bosses, from Aceh and Malaysia

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Director of Narcotics Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, has disclosed that drug lord Andre Fernando Tjhandra, alias Charlie or The Doctor (32), had two bosses within the international syndicate trafficking illicit goods.

“Andre Fernando alias The Doctor is known to have two superiors,” Eko stated in his remarks on Wednesday (8/3/2026).

They are Hendra, an Indonesian citizen (WNI) from Aceh who resides in Malaysia, and Tomy, a Malaysian national.

“The two superiors are known not to know each other,” Eko said.

He claimed to have met Hendra through his associate, Hendro alias Nemo.

Meanwhile, Andre met Tomy while gambling in Genting Highlands, Malaysia.

From Hendra, Andre received methamphetamine twice: 2 kilograms and 3 kilograms in February 2026 at a price of Rp 380 million per kilogram, which he then resold for Rp 390 million per kilogram.

Additionally, Andre received 50 packets of “happy five” in December 2025 at Rp 1.8 million per packet and resold them for Rp 2 million per packet.

From Tomy, Andre received small-sized etomidate in quantities of 250 pills in December 2025 and 397 pills in January 2026, each at Rp 1.7 million per pill, which he sold for Rp 1.8 million per pill.

He also received 700 large-sized etomidate pills in February 2026 at Rp 1.7 million per pill and sold them for Rp 2.2 million per pill.

Payment transactions were conducted in the Whiterabbit PIK area or outside that location.

It was previously reported that Indonesian Police Headquarters arrested drug lord Andre Fernando Tjhandra, alias Charlie or The Doctor, in Penang, Malaysia, on Sunday (5/4/2026).

The case began with an operation by a joint team from Subdit IV Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri and the NIC Task Force at the Whiterabbit Gatot Subroto Club & Private Suites entertainment venue.
