Andre Rosiade Praises Prabowo's Speech: Ignites National Optimism

Deputy Chairman of House Commission VI, Andre Rosiade, has expressed appreciation and declared his team’s readiness to oversee the strategic agendas presented by President Prabowo Subianto during his state address at the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR/DPD. Andre stated that Prabowo’s speech contained a clear vision for the nation’s advancement.

Andre assessed that the programmes outlined by Prabowo reflect the government’s courage and strong commitment to delivering welfare for the community. Andre affirmed his support for the restructuring of state-owned enterprises (BUMNs) and the single-door export of commodities through BUMNs.

“We in Commission VI fully support and are ready to oversee President Prabowo Subianto’s grand vision. From improving the health and education sectors to restructuring BUMNs and downstream processing—everything is very concrete and touches upon the basic needs of the people,” Andre said at the Parliament Complex, Senayan.

Andre also appreciated several crucial points in Prabowo’s speech which he deemed highly visionary, especially those directly intersecting with his duties in House Commission VI. Andre stressed that House Commission VI will ensure all BUMNs and partner ministries work quickly and on target to realise the President’s directives.

“Our task in the DPR is to ensure that budget efficiency in BUMNs truly impacts people’s development, as conveyed by the President. Programmes must run so that their benefits can be felt by communities across the entire country,” Andre stated.

Andre also mentioned that Prabowo’s remarks on Danantara proved the successful partnership with the DPR. According to him, this partnership began with the streamlining process currently being undertaken by Danantara regarding the reduction of BUMNs.

“This shows that the partnership between House Commission VI and Danantara Asset Management is a success. A success in how we partner and support each other to improve the existing BUMNs,” Andre said.

“I am very pleased that the President appreciated Danantara’s performance, which partners with us in House Commission VI. Prabowo’s speech as a whole ignites national optimism,” Andre concluded.
