Andre Rosiade Hands Over Rp50 Million Aid for Mosque Construction in Solok
Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Gerindra Party faction, Andre Rosiade, has expressed his commitment as an ambassador for West Sumatra to support the construction of the Al-Hidayah Mosque in Solok.
“God willing, we will continue to support this mosque construction so that it can be completed soon and provide benefits to the community,” Andre said in a statement on Monday (24/8/2026).
Andre made the remarks while handing over aid amounting to Rp 50 million to support the construction of the Al-Hidayah Mosque within the Solok Arosuka Police Resort complex on Sunday (23/8).
The aid was handed over by Andre during a visit to the Solok Arosuka Police Resort office area. The handover was witnessed by Solok Regent Jon Firman Pandu, Solok Arosuka Police Chief AKBP Rini Anggraini, members of the Solok Regency Regional House of Representatives, several heads of regional apparatus organisations and community figures.
He is even seeking additional aid of Rp 150 million in the next phase to help complete the construction of the Al-Hidayah Mosque.
In addition to discussing the mosque construction, Andre’s visit to Solok Regency was also part of coordination regarding a number of regional development programmes.
One of the agendas discussed was the construction and improvement of road infrastructure. Solok Regency received support for a regional road development plan with a budget value of around Rp 60 billion.
Meanwhile, for the construction of a national road in the Air Dingin area, a budget of around Rp 220 billion has been prepared. Its implementation is still awaiting the land acquisition process.
“This is the importance of collaboration between regional government, central government, the Indonesian House of Representatives and all stakeholders so that various development programmes can proceed according to plan,” Andre said.
This synergy is expected not only to accelerate infrastructure development, but also to encourage improvements in religious facilities and public services so that the benefits can be felt directly by the people of Solok Regency.
Meanwhile, AKBP Rini Anggraini expressed gratitude for the attention and support provided by Andre. According to her, the aid will be very meaningful in supporting the continuation of the Al-Hidayah Mosque construction.
She hopes the mosque construction can be completed soon so that it can be used by police personnel and the community around the Solok Arosuka Police Resort complex.
Appreciation was also conveyed by Jon Firman Pandu. He assessed that Andre Rosiade’s support is an important part of encouraging the acceleration of worship facility development in the area.
“Alhamdulillah, extraordinary. Hopefully there will be more from Mr Andre for the smooth running, continuity and acceleration of the Al-Hidayah Mosque construction,” Jon Firman Pandu said.
Furthermore, Jon Firman Pandu said the mosque’s presence will not only benefit the police force, but also the surrounding community. Therefore, he hopes the construction can be carried out sustainably through the support of various parties.
