Andre Rosiade Checks Improvements to PT Semen Padang Facilities, Target Completion Within One Month
Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) from the Gerindra faction, Andre Rosiade, visited PT Semen Padang to inspect its facilities. The visit also marked the initial step in carrying out improvements across the company’s facilities. The inspection took place on Thursday (5/3/2026) with the presence of PT Semen Padang’s President Director Pri Gustari Akbar and senior management. Rosiade said the inspection followed directives from Chief Operating Officer (COO) Danantara, who is also Head of BP BUMN, Dony Oskaria.
“Together with the President Director of PT Semen Padang and the management team, we directly inspected various facilities within the company’s environment and began taking corrective steps. This is in line with Mr Dony Oskaria’s directive that the facilities be improved to better support the performance of the employees,” he said; he was joined by PT Semen Padang’s Commissioner Ilham Adelino Azre, Finance Director Iskandar Z Lubis, and Secretary Win Bernadino.
Rosiade observed the progress of the repairs that the management has started. Among the facilities targeted for improvement are the sports facilities, the housing environment for official residences, and various public facilities in the area. One area of focus is the renovation of the Sports Building (GOR) and the construction of a new jogging track to be used by employees. There is also repainting of the official residences and repairs to the building’s window frames. Andre regards these improvement steps as essential to increasing the company’s productivity while creating a better working environment.
“In line with Mr Dony Oskaria’s directives, management has progressed on improving the various public facilities within the company’s environment. We hope this will support employees’ performance and enhance the comfort of the working environment,” said the head of the Minangkabau Family Association (IKM).
Andre also emphasised that the facility improvements at PT Semen Padang form part of the central government’s commitment under President Prabowo Subianto to strengthen the national industry, including through improving infrastructure and the operations of state-owned enterprises. Andre is optimistic that all the facility repair works at PT Semen Padang can be completed soon.
“God willing, within one more month,” he said.
Chief Executive Pri Gustari Akbar expressed appreciation and thanks to Andre Rosiade. He also confirmed that management would follow up on the directives to ensure the improvements progress optimally and are completed on target.
