President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto has sworn in Andi Rahadian as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Sultanate of Oman, concurrently for the Republic of Yemen. The swearing-in of Andi took place at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday, 10 April 2026.

The appointment of Andi Rahadian as Indonesian Ambassador is based on Presidential Decree Number 31/P of 2026, regarding the Appointment of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia. Andi Rahadian took the oath of office as dictated by President Prabowo.

“I swear by Allah, to be appointed as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador, I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and will carry out all laws and regulations as straightforwardly as possible in service to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the position, work to the best of my ability with full responsibility. That I will faithfully carry out all orders and instructions given by the central government, and I will faithfully fulfil all other obligations assigned to me as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador,” stated the eight ambassadors following President Prabowo’s words.

After the oath-taking, Andi Rahadian signed the minutes of the inauguration.

Following the ceremony, President Prabowo, along with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, offered congratulations to Andi Rahadian and his family.

Several officials were also present at the event, including Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Djamari Chaniago.

Furthermore, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
