Ancol Waives Entrance Fees for Jakarta's 499th Anniversary Celebrations
PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk is waiving public entrance fees from 9 to 18 June 2026. The policy is in celebration of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary on 22 June 2026.
Managing Director Syahmudrian Lubis said the programme serves as a gift to the public during Jakarta’s anniversary. Through this initiative, Ancol aims to provide an inclusive recreational space and contribute to the festive atmosphere of the capital’s special celebration.
“To celebrate Jakarta’s 499th anniversary, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk has launched the ‘Free Entry to Ancol’ programme for the public to enjoy recreational and public open spaces at Ancol Taman Impian from afternoon until evening,” he said in a written statement on Saturday, 30 May 2026.
He noted the programme will run from 8 to 19 June 2026, with free entry only from 4pm to 11pm WIB. Through this initiative, Ancol aims to provide the public with access to the coastal tourist area, a key recreational icon of the capital.
According to Syahmudrian, visitors can enjoy various activities at Ancol during this period, including leisurely beach walks, sunset views, culinary experiences, and the Dancing Fountain Show, a popular evening attraction.
He added that Ancol continues to develop programmes that not only offer recreational experiences but also strengthen the role of tourist areas as public spaces supporting urban residents’ quality of life.
