Ancol to provide free tickets

JAKARTA: Ancol Dreamland will provide free tickets on June 21 in commemoration of Jakarta's 475th anniversary during the Jakarta Rumahku, Aku Cinta Jakarta (Jakarta, my home, I love Jakarta) festival.

Ancol Dreamland spokesman Ramses Edward Simanjuntak said on Tuesday that the amusement park management would also provide one-for-two tickets for visitors to Fantasyland, the swimming arena and ocean park.

Ancol Dreamland will also host the international kite festival at Bagus beach and the children's abang-none pageant from June 28 to June 30.

On anniversary day, June 22, the park will stage a dangdut music performance featuring Liza Natalia, Camelia Malik, Cici Faramida, Denny Malik and Doel Sumbang, with hosts Nini Karlina and Djadja Mihardja. -- Antara
