Ancol Targets 110,000 Visitors During Long Holiday
PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol predicts a significant increase in the number of tourists during the Ascension of Jesus Christ long holiday on May 14-17, 2026. The Ancol Dreamland tourist area is targeted to be visited by more than 110,000 people during the four days of the holiday.
Ancol’s Corporate Communication, Daniel Windriatmoko, said that the increase in the number of visitors had started to be seen since the first day of the long holiday. “During the long weekend from May 14-17, 2026, Ancol is targeting more than 110,000 visitors over four days,” said Daniel, quoted on Sunday (May 17).
To attract visitors, Ancol has prepared a number of entertainment and educational programs. One of them is the BioKids Color Day event in commemoration of International Biodiversity Day as well as wildlife conservation campaigns such as Sun Bear, Binturong, and Turtle. The program will be held on May 16-17, 2026 at Sea World Ancol and Samudra Ancol. At Sea World, the event takes place at 11:15 am at the Amphitheater, while at Samudra it is held at 2:00 pm at Taman Rumput.
In addition, Ancol also presents family tourist package promos in several attractions. The Three Package Promo applies to Dunia Fantasi or Dufan, while the Five Package Promo is available at Sea World, Samudra, Atlantis, and Jakarta Bird Land until May 30, 2026. He said that the beach area is still a favorite destination for visitors because it is considered the most affordable for family tourism. Meanwhile, Dufan is popular among millennials and Gen Z who are looking for adrenaline-pumping rides, while Sea World is an educational tourist choice for children and families.
“Comply with and follow the directions of officers when you are in the Ancol Dreamland area and do not litter,” said Daniel. He hopes that the momentum of the long holiday will be used by the public to enjoy quality time with family in a safe, comfortable, practical and affordable tourist atmosphere in the Ancol Dreamland area.
