Ancol Provides Parking for 10,000 Cars and 13,000 Motorcycles During Eid Holiday
JAKARTA — Ancol Taman Impian theme park is preparing substantial parking capacity to accommodate a surge in visitors during the 2026 Eid holiday period.
Budi Aryanto, Senior Vice President of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, announced that the resort has a total parking capacity of approximately 10,000 cars and 13,000 motorcycles throughout the premises.
“There is no need to worry because our parking capacity is very large, with approximately 13,000 spaces for motorcycles and approximately 10,000 spaces for cars,” Budi stated during a press briefing at Ancol, North Jakarta, on Thursday (12 March 2026).
For this Eid holiday season, Ancol management will not implement a centralised parking system and will instead utilise existing parking areas distributed across various locations within the resort.
“Visitors need not worry about moving around; they will remain comfortable and safe using the available transportation. There will be no congestion, sweating, or exhaustion. They can use the transportation services available at Ancol,” he explained.
To support visitor mobility, Ancol is providing 25 shuttle buses and 20 Sato-sato trains that can transport tourists to various attractions within the resort.
“For parents visiting with children, elderly relatives, and people with disabilities, the Sato-sato trains will provide convenient access,” Budi clarified.
According to Budi, the programme is designed to provide space for the community to celebrate Eid with family, friends, and communities within the Ancol resort.
“We hope that Ancol can offer a series of holiday activities under the theme ‘Festival Raya Kemenangan’, where in addition to religious gatherings, celebrations can be held together with family, community, and friends at Ancol,” he said.
The event series will be held across several recreational areas, including Ancol Beach, Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World Ancol, Samudra Ancol, Jakarta Bird Land, Atlantis Water Adventure, and Putri Duyung Ancol resort accommodation.
“Eid prayer services will be held on Lagoon Beach on Tuesday (21 March 2026), fireworks displays will take place on Lagoon Beach on Wednesday (22 March 2026) and Thursday (23 March 2026), and a concert featuring Hindia, Feast and OM Sera will be held at the Beach Festival Stage on Tuesday (28 March 2026),” he detailed.
At Dunia Fantasi, visitors will enjoy a grand parade featuring various cultural attractions and entertainment, including Saman dance, hadroh, Sufi dancers, fire dancers, Arabian-themed magic performances, live music, and DJ performances culminating in fireworks.
Sea World Ancol will present a Sea World Night programme, allowing visitors to enjoy the aquarium in the evening with special lighting and sound arrangements.
Through this series of activities, Ancol management hopes the Festival Raya Kemenangan will become one of the preferred recreation destinations for the community to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
“Our hope is that visitors can enjoy this happily together with their family and relatives at Ancol,” Budi added.
