Ancol management has launched a free entry programme for the public to enjoy recreation and public open spaces at Ancol during the evening and night to celebrate Jakarta’s 499th anniversary.

“The programme runs from 8 to 19 June 2026, between 4pm and 11pm WIB, as Ancol’s contribution to celebrating Jakarta’s 499th anniversary,” said Syahmudrian Lubis, President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, in Jakarta on Saturday.

He added that the management is offering the public the chance to enjoy the coastal tourist area, a key recreational icon of the capital.

Visitors can enjoy various activities, including leisurely walks along the coastline. They can also take in sunset views, enjoy culinary experiences, and watch the popular dancing fountain show in the evening.

He stated that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to providing inclusive recreational spaces and contributing to the festive atmosphere of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary.

“Ancol continues to introduce programmes that not only offer recreational experiences but also strengthen the role of tourist areas as public spaces supporting urban quality of life,” said Syahmudrian.

He noted that the upcoming anniversary on 21 June provides an opportunity to showcase Jakarta’s dynamic, modern character while staying close to nature.

He explained that visitors must reserve their entry via Ancol’s official website by the day before their visit to enjoy the free evening entry programme.

Reservations are open from 1 to 18 June 2026, with visitation periods from 8 to 19 June between 4pm and 11pm WIB.

Each reservation is limited to two tickets per person for the duration of the programme.

He clarified that the offer applies only to pedestrian entry tickets and does not include vehicle access or admission to specific recreational units within Ancol.

“Ancol invites the public to celebrate Jakarta’s 499th anniversary together by enjoying a comfortable, safe, and memorable evening experience, fostering family happiness at the capital’s largest tourist destination,” he said.
