PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk has introduced the ‘Free Ancol Entry’ programme for the public to enjoy recreational and public open spaces at Ancol during the evening and night in celebration of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary.
‘The programme runs from 8 to 19 June 2026, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM WIB, as Ancol’s support for Jakarta’s 499th anniversary celebrations,’ said PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk’s President Director Syahmudrian Lubis in Jakarta on Saturday (30 May).
Syahmudrian explained that the initiative allows the public to enjoy the coastal tourist area, one of the capital’s iconic recreational destinations.
Through the free entry programme, visitors can engage in various activities, including leisurely walks along the beach, enjoying sunset views, sampling diverse cuisine available at Ancol, and watching the dancing fountain show, a popular evening attraction.
He added that the initiative is part of the company’s commitment to providing inclusive recreational spaces while contributing to the anniversary celebrations.
‘Ancol continues to develop programmes that not only offer recreational experiences but also reinforce the role of tourist areas as public spaces supporting urban residents’ quality of life,’ Syahmudrian said.
He added that Jakarta’s anniversary on 21 June is the perfect occasion to invite the public to experience the capital’s evolving, modern landscape while retaining natural elements close to residents’ lives.
To participate in the Free Ancol Evening Entry programme, visitors must reserve in advance via Ancol’s official website at least one day before the visit date.
Registration opens from 1 to 18 June 2026, with the visit period running from 8 to 19 June 2026 between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM WIB.
Management has stipulated that each person can book a maximum of two tickets during the programme period.
It is important to note that the promotion applies only to entrance tickets for individuals to the Ancol area. Vehicle entry tickets and admission to recreational units within Ancol are not included in the free programme.
‘Ancol invites the public to celebrate Jakarta’s 499th anniversary together by enjoying a comfortable, safe, and memorable evening experience, fostering family happiness at the capital’s largest tourist destination,’ he said.
