PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol invited 1,000 orphans and underprivileged children to enjoy free rides at a number of Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) recreational attractions in commemoration of Dufan’s 41st anniversary and the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday in Jakarta on Saturday.

“This is a form of gratitude and a hope that Dufan will continue to be a recreational facility that is beneficial and brings happiness to all groups,” said Eddy Prastiyo, Director of Recreation & Operations at PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, in Jakarta on Saturday.

Eddy said that entering its 41st year, Dufan’s journey has become a reflection full of struggle, dreams, and achievements for all parties who support the existence of the recreational unit.

“Because for us, celebrating a birthday is not only about getting older, but also about increasing usefulness,” he said.

He added that the Gema Tadarus momentum is also a form of implementing the exemplary values of the Prophet Muhammad, particularly care and honesty.

According to Eddy, these values are in line with Ancol’s commitment to creating a recreational space that is not merely a place of entertainment, but also a platform for sharing, learning, and fostering fellowship.

Eddy explained that through this activity, children are given space to learn, to dream, and to create happy memories that become new unforgettable experiences.

The peak of Dufan Ancol’s 41st anniversary celebration was held on Saturday with PLAYVOR THE FEST “Ride the Music, Ride the Fantasy” as a special festival combining the excitement of iconic rides, music performances, festival visuals, and a lively theme park atmosphere at night.

The event was enlivened by a number of bands, such as Vierratale, BRAVY, and Moluccan Soul, who presented nostalgic music and melodies to make the evening atmosphere at Dufan even more vibrant.

Management believes that with the added value provided to the public, this will become a form of trust that continues to accompany Dufan’s journey in achieving various successes in the future.

“Ancol continues to be committed to remaining a public space and a progressive, comfortable, safe, and inclusive entertainment destination that prioritises educational and cultural values for the community,” he said.
