LEP Internasional Indonesia Perdana, established in 1992, became the exclusive partner of LEP International Group on a worldwide basis. LEP International has been a major contributor to every chapter in the history of Global Freight Forwarding.

With an international network of offices, depots and warehouses, LEP Internasional Indonesia Perdana offers a full range of freight forwarding services, operating quality day-to- day service for imports and exports and airfreight and ocean freight, as well as local services set to a variety of local performance standards demanded by the world's leading companies.

On Sept. 15, 1998, the group changed its logo from LEP International to GeoLogistics. In 1997, LEP International and its subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada were merged with other logistics and freight forwarding companies under one umbrella: GeoLogistics Corporation; LEP Internasional Indonesia Perdana has also adopted the brand name.

GeoLogistics Corporation has approximately 1,000 service centers in 75 countries.

A GeoLogistics Corporation spokesperson said: "Our unified brand and identity exemplifies that all of our companies and employees work 'as one', and it shows to clients, shareholders, suppliers and the general public the unique role we play in the global logistics industry.

"Our goal is to build our business around what matters most to our clients, that is, believable, reliable logistics programs that deliver what we promise.

"Being the biggest simply isn't important to us. Instead, we are forging a unified and energized employee base, streamlining operations, offering comprehensive services and simplifying points of contact. These are the real benefits for our clients."

The company was designed to meet the evolving services requirements of multinational and local clients. It all started with a small office in Jakarta. Soon an office at Cengkareng Airport followed, and nowadays, it operates with additional offices in Tanjung Priok, Bandung, Cirebon, Semarang, Surakarta, Yogjakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar and Medan, with more in the planning stage.

The company is constantly developing a healthy base of local Indonesian customers combined with a multinational clientele obtained through its partnership with the worldwide organization.

The services range from export and import handling by sea and air, customs brokerage, local distribution and trucking, to arranging of charter-vessels and charter-aircraft, handling infrastructure projects, consolidation services by air and sea and warehousing activities.
