An integrated food company

PT Sierad Produce, established in 1985 to market chickens and
meat processing, is wholly owned by publicly listed company PT
Anwar Sierad, a player in the Indonesian agrifood sector.

Current operations have expanded to include fast-food chains,
restaurants, franchising, food processing and poultry food
production.

The company's activities are divided into two core businesses:

In the food division, food processing has expanded to food
marketing with value-added chicken items, production of ready-to-
cook food and developing top cold storage facilities for fast-
food and restaurant chains.

In the poultry division, PT Sierad Produce has been able to
control the quality of raw materials used in its food business,
comprising sierad feed mill, sierad grains, fish meal, sierad
biotek and poultry equipment.

One of its keys to success is its quality of personnel and
governing human resources development.

PT Sierad Produce's Director Eko Sandjojo said: "We strive to

The company has identified four specific strategies:

1. To continue expansion into value-added businesses,
capitalizing on the value chain already existing within the
company.

2. To use the fast-food business as a vehicle to expand
aggressively.

3. To regionalize, by expanding geographically into areas with
identifiable, sustainable business and economic growth.

4. To develop franchising capabilities in Indonesia and overseas.
