AMPI distributes sacrificial meat to Jakarta residents during Eid al-Adha
The occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah has been utilised by the Central Leadership Council of the Indonesian Youth Renewal Force (DPP AMPI) to strengthen youth social awareness. Through the AMPI Media Centre, AMPI distributed sacrificial beef, delivering hundreds of kilograms to communities in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
The social initiative was warmly welcomed by Jakarta residents around the AMPI Media Centre. The event, themed ‘sharing goodness and strengthening humanistic togetherness’, demonstrated tangible youth contributions to fostering community solidarity.
DPP AMPI Chairman Jerry Sambuaga affirmed that this year’s kurban initiative is part of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to be at the forefront of serving the people. He stated that the social activity aligns with Partai Golkar’s new direction under Bahlil Lahadalia, which has increasingly connected with the youth.
‘We hold social activities to celebrate Eid al-Adha annually. AMPI aims to maintain closeness with the public through concrete actions. This follows the guidance of AMPI Board Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, who has successfully made Golkar more appealing to young people through on-the-ground work. This is the era of a new, independent, progressive Golkar that provides space for youth to contribute directly to the people,’ Sambuaga said.
Meanwhile, DPP AMPI Vice Chairman Arief Rosyid Hasan viewed the essence of Eid al-Adha as a reflection and inspiration for youth to balance achievements, contributions, and social awareness.
‘Eid al-Adha’s spirit must inspire young people to continuously contribute while building social awareness. This aligns with AMPI’s struggle values emphasised by AMPI Board Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia. Youth must be at the forefront, not apathetic, and capable of building tangible solidarity that directly benefits the community,’ Hasan said.
