AMN gets new governor

MAGELANG, Central Java: The new governor of the National
Military Academy (AMN), Maj. Gen. Ilyas Yusuf was installed
yesterday by Army chief of staff Gen. Hartono. He replaces Maj.
Gen. Purwantono, who has been appointed General Commander of the
Armed Forces Academy.

Ilyas was deputy commander of the Army Education and Training
Center before he assumed the new job, Antara reported.

The installation, held at the academy square, was held by Maj.
Gen. Tarub, the commander of the army strategic command (Kostrad)
and Maj. Gen. Subagyo HS, the commander of the Central Java
