Amien Rais must decide stance

It has been reported in the mass media that the dispute over
the results of the general election between the Democratic Party
and the National Mandate Party (PAN), regarding six seats in the
House of Representatives for the electorate of Central Sulawesi,
has been won by the National Mandate Party through the
Constitutional Court.

Unfortunately, to win this dispute, the National Mandate Party
used a general election result that the Donggala General
Elections Commission -- as proven by the Palu District Court --
inflated.

I am writing this letter to call on Amien Rais, the leader of
the National Mandate Party -- a political party that uses the
slogan "Courageous, Honest and Smart" -- to take the right stance
on the settlement of the dispute referred to above. In line with
the motto of the party, Amien Rais must make a wise decision
about this matter, and must not let winning just one seat in the
House tarnish his image and that of the party.
