AMD Launches Ryzen AI 400 Series and Ryzen AI Max+ 392 in Indonesia

AMD has officially introduced its latest mobile processors for the Copilot+ ecosystem and premium ultra-thin notebooks: Ryzen AI 400 Series and Ryzen AI Max+ 392. The move addresses demand for devices that are not only fast at multitasking but also capable of local AI workloads. Built on the modern Zen 5 architecture and backed by an AMD XDNA 2nd‑generation based Neural Processing Unit, the lineup promises higher efficiency and smarter workload handling. The combination achieves impressive AI performance, reaching up to 60 NPU TOPS, surpassing the minimum standard set for PC Copilot+. Armawati Cen, Consumer Business Development Manager AMD Indonesia, said the series represents an evolution of mobile AI processors, delivering responsive and immersive performance for users across enthusiast, mainstream and gaming segments while prioritising reliable power efficiency. In addition to the 400 series, AMD is launching Ryzen AI Max+ 392 in Indonesia. This processor is notable for integrating desktop‑class graphics and a memory‑unified architecture into an ultra‑thin laptop. With AMD Radeon 8060S graphics, the device can handle high‑resolution media rendering and modern gaming at high settings without compromising portability. AMD is not only focusing on hardware but also strengthening the software ecosystem. AMD ROCm software now supports Ryzen AI 400 Series and is available through ComfyUI. Over the past year, ROCm has delivered AI performance improvements of up to five times, making it a strong platform for developers building next‑generation intelligent applications. Laptops powered by Ryzen AI 400 Series are set to be available in Indonesia in the first quarter of 2026 through leading OEM partners such as Acer, ASUS, HP, GIGABYTE and Lenovo. As a value addition, AMD is collaborating with A.V. Mapping to offer a three‑month premium access bundle without charge for purchases of Ryzen AI 400, 300 and Max Series laptops from 20 May to 30 November 2026. Customers can redeem the access code until 31 December 2026 via the official site provided. AMD also presents Ryzen 5 as an alternative mid‑range processor delivering satisfactory performance without a high price tag.
