AMD has introduced its latest Ryzen processors, the Ryzen AI 400 Series and Ryzen AI Max+ 392, in Indonesia. Both come with far more sophisticated AI capabilities.

The Ryzen AI 400 Series, the latest mobile AI-based processor, is intended for PC Copilot+ with 6 NPU TOPS. The processor supports superior AI experiences, broader reach, immersive performance, and out-of-the-box AI features for more systems than before. ‘The AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series is a next-generation AI-based mobile processor with smarter computing across a wider platform reach and, of course, delivering a better mobile compute performance experience to users across segments—from enthusiasts to mainstream users to gamers,’ said Armawati Cen, Consumer Business Development Manager at AMD Indonesia, in a statement cited on Friday (22 May 2026). ‘This is AMD’s evolution in mobile AI processors with more responsive and immersive performance while continuing to prioritise power efficiency to boost productivity and meet the needs of complex multitasking workloads,’ she added.

The Ryzen AI 400 Series is built on the Zen 5 architecture with NPU based on the second generation AMD XDNA architecture. In addition, the processor is equipped with up to 12 high-performance CPU cores, integrated AMD Radeon 800M Series graphics, and faster memory speeds. Consequently, the Ryzen AI 400 Series offers battery life endurance and intelligent computing across a range of systems and form factors.

The Ryzen AI 400 Series will begin to be available in the first quarter of 2026. Multiple laptops will be powered by this processor, including models from Acer, ASUS, HP, GIGABYTE, and Lenovo, with pricing across segments from mainstream to gaming and premium.

Meanwhile, the Ryzen AI Max+ 392 is designed for ultra-thin and premium lightweight notebooks with AI acceleration. This product targets optimisation of PC Copilot+ for creative and demanding AI workloads, and immersive gameplay without compromising portability or user experience. The processor uses AMD Zen 5 cores, AMD Radeon 8060S Series graphics, and an NPU based on the second-generation AMD XDNA architecture. This enables power-efficient performance, accelerates large language models, high-resolution media rendering, or playing modern games at high settings.

AMD is also working with software developers to bring the latest AI features to everyday applications—from content creation and productivity to gaming—ensuring Ryzen AI-powered PCs deliver tangible and measurable benefits from the outset.
