Great news for toy enthusiasts, collectors, and pop culture fans in the country. The prestigious international exhibition, Amazing Toy Show (ATS) Jakarta 2026, will officially be held for the first time in Indonesia. This event is prepared to become the first and largest celebration of the art toy world ever held in Indonesia.

Occupying four floors of the Gandaria City Mall in Jakarta, ATS 2026 will run for four full days, from 18 to 21 June 2026. Notably, this international-scale exhibition will be open to the general public with free entry and no admission restrictions for the community.

The arrival of ATS in Jakarta marks a new chapter in the history of this annual exhibition. Since its launch in 2018 in Hong Kong and its subsequent expansion to Beijing, ATS has been consistently held once a year in each destination city. This expansion into Indonesia is driven by PT Click Prime International, an established Intellectual Property (IP) licensing agency and Event Organiser.

The Commissioner of PT Click Prime International, Guala Tjandra, revealed that this Indonesian debut is based on the extraordinary enthusiasm from the local collector community. “We want to provide a platform for local creators to stand side-by-side with international maestros, while providing exclusive access for Indonesian collectors to obtain items that are not sold elsewhere,” she stated.

One of the main highlights this year is the presence of GRAPE BRAIN, a legendary art toy brand from Japan founded by the artist RAGE. Original works from GRAPE BRAIN have even been selected as the official Key Visual (KV) for the event, reflecting the exhibition’s spirit in pushing the boundaries of creativity between fine art and pop culture.

Significant support also comes from local creator Faza Meonk. The creator of the character Si Juki considers ATS Jakarta to be a major achievement for the domestic art toy ecosystem. “Now local creators can share the stage directly with global big names in their own home. Hopefully, this will be a path for Indonesian creators to be seen by the world,” said Faza.

For collectors, the event offers a rare opportunity to possess highly limited Labubu collections. Surprises are also available for top spenders and the first 100 buyers each day throughout the exhibition. Visitors can also interact directly through Meet & Greet sessions, product signings, and live drawing performances.

The founder of Amazing Toy Show, Jackie, emphasised that amidst the rise of online transactions, ATS serves as a venue for physical interaction. “It is not just about selling toys or artworks, but about becoming a platform for connecting people. Indonesia holds a special place because it possesses many talented pop culture artists,” he concluded.
