Amartha 10X Run 2026 Brings Traditional Market Atmosphere to Running Event
Running events in Indonesia are no longer merely competitions to chase personal best times, but have transformed into experiential spaces that combine lifestyle, fitness and social connection. One interesting breakthrough appears in the Amartha 10X Run 2026, scheduled to take place on 6 September 2026 at the East Parking Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.
Unlike running events in general, the Amartha 10X Run, initiated by Amartha Financial together with Indonesia Muda Road Runner (IMRR), highlights a unique aspect by showcasing local wisdom through a traditional market theme. This concept was deliberately chosen to provide a more grounded experience that is relevant to the ecosystem that Amartha has built so far.
The main uniqueness of this event lies in the design of the race village that will welcome runners at the finish line. Instead of merely containing commercial sponsor booths, this area will be transformed to resemble a traditional market. This element is designed to reflect the daily lives of millions of women micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) actors who are Amartha’s partners in villages across the country.
Participants who have completed the 10K or half marathon categories will not only receive medals, but also the experience of interacting with a strong market atmosphere. Several unique attractions presented include:
SVP Growth & Marketing of Amartha Financial, Sheldon Chuan, explained that the presence of traditional market elements is a manifestation of the big theme #WeGoBeyond. This theme is not only about surpassing physical limits while running, but also celebrating the resilience of more than 4 million women MSME actors in more than 50,000 villages in Indonesia.
By presenting a traditional market in the middle of a modern running event, Amartha 10X Run 2026 has succeeded in creating a bridge between urban lifestyles and the spirit of the people’s economy. For runners, this event is not just about how fast they reach the finish line, but about celebrating the never-give-up spirit inspired by economic drivers at the grassroots level.
