AMANAH Relaunch Nears as 45 Verified UMKM Products Ready to Boost Youth Economy
Banda Aceh, VIVA – Ahead of the relaunch, the Yayasan Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul-Hebat (AMANAH) is increasingly strengthening its role in nurturing the younger generation while developing the creative economy ecosystem. To date, AMANAH has gathered 45 UMKM products that have undergone verification, of which 40 have been displayed in the UMKM Gallery, while the remainder are still at the AMANAH secretariat in Banda Aceh. This achievement reflects AMANAH’s seriousness in promoting youth empowerment through the strengthening of the entrepreneurship sector. Another concrete step is realised through the organisation of the Future Leaders Bootcamp (FLB), an intensive leadership training programme held at the AMANAH Building in the Aceh Industrial Area (KIA), Ladong, Aceh Besar. A total of 26 selected participants from various regions in Aceh attended the event themed “Knowing Oneself, Determining Direction, Realising the Future”. The participants are selected young individuals who have gone through a rigorous selection process from dozens of the best applicants across Aceh. The Chairman of the AMANAH Foundation, Saifullah Muhammad, emphasised that the presence of AMANAH as a strategic forum for nurturing Aceh’s younger generation is increasingly important amid current global challenges. “The importance of AMANAH’s presence as a forum for developing Aceh’s younger generation,” he said in a written statement on Sunday, 19 April 2026. He also stressed the need to build a strong leadership mindset and high commitment among the youth. “As well as the active role of youth in sustainable development—aligned with national values and the spirit of love for the homeland,” he added. “AMANAH is here to ensure that Aceh’s young people have sufficient provisions to become leaders, not only at the local level, but also at the national and global levels,” said Saifullah. The FLB programme also featured Said Muniruddin, an academic from Syiah Kuala University, author, and trainer in personal development and leadership. One of the main materials presented was “Assessing Entrepreneurial Mindset”, which provides a deep understanding of the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset as the foundation for future business leadership. All materials are designed systematically and applicatively to support the comprehensive capacity development of participants, both in terms of character, life vision, and practical skills. This activity is part of the series of preparations leading to the AMANAH relaunch, which will mark a new chapter in strengthening youth nurturing programmes in Aceh in a more massive, integrated, and sustainable manner.
