Alva's Investment in Indonesia Surpasses IDR 1 Trillion
Indonesian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Alva has invested more than IDR 1 trillion to accelerate the expansion of its integrated electric motorcycle ecosystem, spanning production, charging infrastructure, and after-sales services. Chief Marketing Officer Putu Swaditya Yudha stated that the transition to electric vehicles requires comprehensive ecosystem readiness. “For Alva, building electric motorcycles goes beyond the product itself; it encompasses manufacturing, technology, charging, after-sales services, and ownership models that provide peace of mind for consumers who rely on Alva electric motorcycles as their primary vehicle,” Putu Swaditya Yudha said in an official statement on Wednesday. Alva’s factory in Cikarang has obtained several certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, and the Indonesia Industry 4.0 (INDI 4.0) readiness index from the Ministry of Industry. From this facility, Alva has produced original Indonesian electric motorcycles such as the Alva One, Alva Cervo, and Alva N3 Next Gen. Supporting features like Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Assist have also been incorporated to enhance riding safety. On the infrastructure front, Alva has expanded its Boost Charge Station network to more than 350 connectors across various regions. This infrastructure readiness has contributed to Alva’s sales reaching 4,508 units throughout 2025, a 52.9 per cent increase compared to 2,948 units in the previous year, reflecting the growing market for two-wheeled electric vehicles in Indonesia.
