SINGAPORE (AFX-ASIA): Allied Components International Ltd said
it has formed a new unit, PT Allied Batam, in Batam, Indonesia.

PT Allied Batam, which will have an authorized capital of
US$290,000, is principally engaged in printed circuit board
assembly.

"Barring unforeseen circumstances, the operations of PT Allied
Batam are expected to be profitable in the first year of
operations," it said.
