Alleged molester detained in Padang

PADANG, West Sumatra: A 53-year-old man identified as Rustam
is under police detention for allegedly molesting nine male
junior high school students.

"As of Monday, we have found nine victims, all of them
students, who admitted that they had been sexually molested by
the suspect," Adj. Sr. Comr. Estuning Widayat said here on
Monday.

Rustam reportedly forced the students to commit sexual acts
after inviting them to his house to watch pornographic films.

"He forced the children to act out the scenes they had seen in
the porno films. The goings-on were discovered when one of the
students reported it and his teachers immediately went to the
police," the officer said, adding that the police were still
awaiting medical examination results to determine whether the
boys had been sodomized. (28/edt)
