Alleged Involvement in Payments to AKBP Didik: Drug Kingpin Ko Erwin Officially Listed as a Wanted Person by the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency!
The hunt for a drug kingpin allegedly involved in a scandal involving payments to former Bima City Police Chief, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, has now been officially escalated. The National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) has added Erwin Iskandar Bin Iskandar, also known as Ko Erwin, to the list of wanted persons.
This step was taken after Bareskrim’s Narcotics Directorate took over the handling and pursuit of Ko Erwin, who is said to have a significant role in the case. “It is true that Bareskrim’s Narcotics Directorate has taken over the pursuit of the wanted person, Erwin,” said the Director of Bareskrim’s Narcotics Directorate, Brigadier General of Police Eko Hadi Santoso, on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
A wanted person notice was issued, numbered: DPO/23/II/RES.4.2./2026/Dittipidnarkoba, for Erwin Iskandar Bin Iskandar, an Indonesian citizen born in Makassar on May 30, 1969.
“With the following characteristics: height 167 cm, weight 85 kilograms, short, straight black hair, and medium brown skin,” he said.
In the announcement, four addresses allegedly used by Ko Erwin were also listed, namely in Sumbawa (West Nusa Tenggara) and several locations in South Sulawesi, including Makassar and Gowa.
“He is to be monitored/arrested/surrendered/information about his whereabouts is to be provided to the investigator, AKBP Agung Prabowo, A.Md., at the above-mentioned police station, with the mobile number 081385277785,” he said.
Ko Erwin is charged with multiple articles, including Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) and/or Article 137 paragraph a of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, and Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Amendments to the Criminal Code, as well as Article 609 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Amendments to the Criminal Code.
Previously, it was reported that the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police had designated Koko Erwin, a drug kingpin who allegedly gave a bribe of IDR 1 billion to AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro while serving as the Head of the Bima City Police, as a suspect.
The suspect status of the perpetrator who gave the bribe through an intermediary, AKP Malaungi, was revealed from a brief confirmation by the Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Commissioner of Police Mohammad Kholid, via a written message on the WhatsApp application, on Friday.
“Yes, sir (Koko Erwin is a suspect),” he said.
