Alleged Corruption at Jembrana Satpol PP Moves to Investigation Stage, 2 Witnesses Examined

The case of alleged corruption in the procurement of goods and services within the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Jembrana Regency, Bali, has officially moved to the investigation stage. The Jembrana District Attorney’s Office (Kejari Jembrana) is now examining a number of pieces of evidence and questioning witnesses related to the case.

Head of the Special Crimes Section (Kasi Pidsus) at Kejari Jembrana, Dwi Prima Satya, said investigators have examined two witnesses since the case was upgraded from the inquiry stage. “In the investigation stage, we have only examined two people (witnesses). Because we have just upgraded this to the investigation stage from the previous inquiry stage,” Prima Satya said when confirmed by detikBali on Tuesday (18/8/2026).

“We have obtained the evidence so far, but we are still processing the data, studying and deepening it. Later we will submit a request for the seizure of evidence,” he added.

As previously reported, Kejari Jembrana had examined 12 Satpol PP Jembrana employees, ranging from staff to division heads, up to Tuesday (11/8/2026). The examination was related to alleged criminal acts of corruption involving unlawful conduct in goods and services procurement activities for the 2022 to 2025 fiscal years.

The alleged misappropriation is believed to cover several budget items, such as fuel oil (BBM) usage, official vehicle servicing costs, and salary payments for part-time Government Employees with Work Agreements (P3K Paruh Waktu).

The Pidsus investigation team at Kejari Jembrana is continuing to collect supporting evidence to clarify the construction of the case and determine the parties responsible for the alleged budget misappropriation.
