Alleged 'Cendana' companies listed

SERANG, West Java: The Serang prosecutors office is currently
making an inventory of companies who are suspected of being owned
or closely associated with former president Soeharto and his
family.

"We hope that the whole community will cooperate in helping us
collect data of companies and other assets which are related to
Cendana," said chief prosecutor Haswir Harun here yesterday.

The move he said was in response to Attorney General Soedjono
Atmonegoro's statement that his office would follow up on demands
to investigate possible corruption related to the former
president.

Antara reported that several major factories in the area are
suspected to be linked to the former president or his family such
as petrochemical factory PT. Chandra Asri built in Ciwandan.
