All of Jakarta is expected to experience rain on Sunday afternoon

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that all areas of DKI Jakarta will experience light rain on Sunday afternoon after being dominated by thick cloud cover from morning until noon.

In the afternoon, light rain is expected, followed by cloudy weather in the evening. Only East Jakarta will experience rain from the afternoon to the evening.

The BMKG estimates that air temperatures in DKI Jakarta will range between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds ranging from 1 to 13 kilometres per hour.

The BMKG advises the public to remain vigilant regarding potential weather changes and prepare the necessary equipment when carrying out activities outdoors.

The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) urges the public to remain vigilant against the potential for flooding due to rain, and to immediately contact the emergency services on 112 if an emergency occurs. This service is accessible free of charge 24 hours a day.
