Tech giant Google has opened access to its AI video creation tool free of charge for everyone. The tool, named Google Vids, is now available to Google or Google Workspace account holders at no cost, with enhanced capabilities to produce sharp 1080p high-definition images.
Until now, advanced AI-based video creation tools have generally been paid services or available only with limited access. Now, anyone with a Google account can directly create complete videos simply by typing a description of what they want, without the need for editing expertise or expensive software.
The latest upgrade is powered by the Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash artificial intelligence model, which allows users to control the output with greater precision.
Image quality reaches 1080p HD resolution, ensuring the generated videos look clear and are suitable for sharing on social media or public displays. Users can also extend the duration of created scenes without altering the appearance of characters, lighting, or the overall atmosphere. This means that if a segment needs to be lengthened, the appearance remains consistent with the original scene. The duration of each video clip can be adjusted precisely according to storytelling needs.
Soon, a text-to-speech or automatic voiceover feature will be available in over 100 languages, including Indonesian. The generated voices sound very natural, allowing videos to be tailored to audiences in various countries without the need to record one’s own voice.
