All DKI BPBD Civil Servants Continue WFO to Maintain Public Services
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD DKI) states that all civil servants (ASN) and BPBD personnel are working directly in the office or under work from office (WFO) arrangements to keep public services running optimally for the community.
“Even though some fall under work from home (WFH) provisions, our leadership has decided that no one at BPBD will WFH,” said the Head of the Disaster Data and Information Centre at BPBD DKI, Mohamad Yohan, in Jakarta on Friday.
Therefore, Yohan said, it can be assured that all ASN and BPBD officers in DKI are still working in the office as usual to provide services to the people of Jakarta.
“All BPBD ASN personnel are not WFH. On this Friday, they continue to carry out duties as usual with WFO,” he stated.
Previously, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said that several agencies related to public services would not implement the work from home (WFH) policy every Friday.
“Mid-level and entry-level officials, as well as those related to public services such as Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, Health, and Gulkarmat (Fire Services) will continue to carry out duties as usual,” Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall.
Meanwhile, the WFH policy for Civil Servants (ASN) will be applied to administrative work.
Pramono said his side would regulate the proportion of ASN working from home with a certain scheme.
According to him, there is no definite limit from the central government, so the DKI Provincial Government sets the WFH range between 25 and 50 percent.
“The minimum is 25 percent up to 50 percent; within that range, it will be regulated. Work from home will be prepared by Mr. Secretary General together with the Head of BKD, and there will be a Governor’s decree for it,” Pramono stated.
