The sadness, suffering and sacrifices of the victims of the
recent bomb blasts in several parts of Java and elsewhere have
profoundly touched the hearts of all right-thinking people.

These well-planned and well-coordinated acts of heinous
violence have certainly cost the masterminds quite a lot of
money, but what exactly were they aimed at? Solely causing
suffering to those targeted or did they have political motives
that would justify any means in their eyes.

Fortunately, all religious leaders and statesmen as well
sensible people are aware that a terrorist act targeting a
particular religion does not have to be perpetrated by another
religious group.

May this kind of awareness develop into a glorious, great
understanding that is possessed by believers of every religion.
If, in the future, any religion should become a victim of
terrorist acts, the victimized religion should under no
circumstances accuse other religions of being responsible.
Because we all believe that no religion on this planet tolerates
acts of terrorism targeted against another religion. Accordingly,
the leaders of every religion should immediately declare that any
terrorist act against another religion is and will always be
condemned and regarded as a common enemy.

We should fully rely on the police to put an end to all kinds
of crimes and to take the necessary legal steps against those
responsible for the bombings.
