Alkhairaat Pesantren National Gathering Discusses Integrated Early Madrasah Diniyah Development

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PALU – The National Gathering (Silatnas) of Alkhairaat Pesantren leaders discussed the development of the integrated Madrasah Diniyah Awaliyah (MDA). General Chairman of the Alkhairaat Central Board, Mohsen Alaydrus, emphasised the importance of maximising teacher resource quality as the primary key to advancing the madrasah. One strategic step promoted is the service programme for santri after completing studies abroad, particularly those funded by local governments or relevant regional committees. “With this programme, the quality of teaching staff will improve further and be able to enhance the competitiveness of Alkhairaat madrasahs,” he said on Monday (30/3/2026). He also underscored the importance of promoting the self-reliance of private madrasahs and improving education quality through curriculum revitalisation and teacher quality enhancement. He added the importance of preparing teaching cadres for Madrasah Diniyah Awaliyah (MDA). The meeting, also held in hybrid format, was attended by participants from various regions across Indonesia.
