Ali Larijani Warns of 9/11-Style Attack Plot to Frame Iran

Iran’s National Security Secretary Ali Larijani has issued a serious warning regarding an alleged plan for a large-scale terrorist attack designed to implicate his country.

Through a post on social media platform X, Larijani alleged that remnants of the Jeffrey Epstein network are suspected of being behind the conspiracy. “I have heard that members of the remaining Epstein network have designed a conspiracy to create an incident similar to 9/11 and blame Iran for it,” he wrote, as cited by Anadolu.

Larijani emphasised that Iran’s position is unequivocal in opposing all forms of terrorism. He also underscored that Iran has no grievance with the American people.

“Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist schemes and has no conflict with the American people,” he stated.

Nevertheless, in the same statement, he expressed that Tehran remains on high alert as a form of self-defence against what he described as attacks from the United States and Israel. Larijani warned that Iran would deliver a “strong and decisive” response to punish those responsible should their sovereignty be threatened.
