Algeria to Close Airspace to UAE-Registered Aircraft

Algeria will close its airspace at midnight on Friday to all civil and military aircraft registered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Ministry of Defence stated on Thursday.

This measure will not affect UAE commercial passenger flights to and from Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers. These flights will continue until the end of 2026, when existing contracts are set to expire, the ministry noted.
