Alfamidi Records Rp 5.88 Trillion Revenue in Q1 2026
PT Midi Utama Indonesia (Alfamidi) recorded net revenue of Rp 5.88 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, representing a 5.43 per cent growth compared to the Rp 5.57 trillion recorded during the same period last year. This was announced by the Finance Director of PT Midi Utama Indonesia, Suantopo, following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) at Alfa Tower in Tangerang, Banten.
“Profit for the current period attributable to the owners of the parent entity surged by 43.5 per cent to Rp 265 billion, up from Rp 190 billion in the first quarter of 2025,” Suantopo stated on Thursday, 4 June 2026.
He noted that this growth was supported by the continuous expansion of the store network. As of 31 March 2026, Alfamidi operated 2,627 stores across Indonesia, an increase of 40 stores compared to the end of 2025. This total includes 2,541 Alfamidi stores, 82 Alfamidi Super stores, and 4 Midi Fresh stores. “For 2026, we aim to add 200 stores with an investment value reaching Rp 1.5 trillion,” he added.
Suantopo expressed confidence that the prospects for Indonesia’s retail industry in 2026 remain promising. Growth is expected to be driven by maturing digitalisation, the penetration of modern retail into new regions, and increasing demand for daily necessity products. “Learning from the pandemic, we remain optimistic about revenue growth and the business expansions we are undertaking. We are preparing various strategies to make it easier for consumers to obtain the goods they desire,” said Suantopo.
Regarding the 2025 performance, the company recorded business growth with annual revenue of Rp 20.64 trillion, a 3.79 per cent increase from the Rp 19.89 trillion recorded in 2024. Profit for the year attributable to the owners of the parent entity increased by 45.01 per cent to Rp 792 billion, compared to Rp 546 billion in 2024.
Afid Hermeily, Corporate Legal & Compliance Director of PT Midi Utama Indonesia, added that the company continues to strengthen its digital ecosystem through the development of online shopping platforms. “By the end of 2025, the number of members reached 7.02 million, contributing 49.8 per cent to the Company’s total sales,” said Afid.
Meanwhile, Operational Director Heru Sarwono added that throughout 2025, the company marketed over 800 local products across its store network and provided training to MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) players to improve product quality and competitiveness.
