The Transportation Department (Dishub) of Bekasi City has mapped out the road networks that will be used by travellers during the Lebaran mudik (exodus) in 2026. The Bekasi City Transportation Department has identified three main routes utilised by mudik travellers.

“The transport infrastructure and supporting facilities have been prepared,” said Zeno Bachtiar, Head of Bekasi City’s Transportation Department, in a statement on Tuesday (17 March 2026). “There are three main mudik routes: the Northern, Central and Southern corridors.”

The Bekasi City Government has ensured that security measures have been put in place for the Lebaran mudik routes to protect travellers passing through. The administration is committed to ensuring that the mudik period runs safely, securely and smoothly.

“Vehicle mobility and the movement of people from Bekasi City to other cities during mudik will be conducted in a conducive manner, and the same applies to the return journey after 31 March,” Bachtiar said.

Zeno detailed the key sections of the mudik routes in Bekasi City mapped across three corridors. The breakdown is as follows:

Northern Corridor includes:

  • Jakarta – Sultan Agung Street – General Sudirman Street – Ahmad Yani Street – Cut Meutia Street – Ir. H. Juanda Street – Bulak Kapal – Tambun

  • Jakarta – Sultan Agung Street – General Sudirman Street – Ir. H. Juanda Street – Cut Meutia Street – Bulak Kapal – Tambun

  • Jakarta – Sultan Agung Street – General Sudirman Street – Ir. H. Juanda Street – Sergeant Aswan Street – Cut Meutia Street – Ir. H. Juanda Street – Bulak Kapal – Tambun

Central Corridor includes:

Jakarta – KH Noer Ali Street – M. Hasibuan Street – Chairil Anwar Street – Cempaka Street (Margahayu) – Kalimalang Street – Grand Wisata

Southern Corridor includes:

Bogor – Siliwangi Street – Cut Meutia Street – Ir. H. Juanda Street – Bulak Kapal – Tambun
