Alamtri Resources Officially Begins Share Buyback Today
PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) began buying back its shares on Tuesday (20 October 2026). The corporate action reflects the company’s confidence in the strength of the national economy and its long-term business prospects.
Alamtri Resources Indonesia Corporate Secretary Maharani Cindy Opssedha said the buyback was also part of the company’s support for efforts to maintain the stability of Indonesia’s capital market. Management hopes the strategic move will have a positive impact on shareholders.
“This move reflects the company’s confidence in the strength of the national economy and its long-term business prospects, while also supporting efforts to maintain the stability of Indonesia’s capital market,” Alamtri management said in a disclosure on Tuesday (20 October 2026).
The buyback programme was approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 17 April 2026. It is scheduled to run for 12 months from 18 April 2026, in accordance with applicable capital market regulations.
Management said the company was well positioned to implement the programme in stages. Its financial position and prudent liquidity management were key considerations in carrying out the share repurchases.
Alamtri believes the buyback will not affect its financial condition, investment requirements or operations, including the execution of its established business plans. The company said it remained committed to balancing corporate actions with the growth of its underlying business.
“With the support of a sound financial position and prudent liquidity management, the company believes this move will not affect its financial condition, investment requirements or operations, including its established business plans,” management said.
