Alamtri Resources (ADRO) Profit Rises 76.8% in First Half of 2026
PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk. (ADRO) recorded a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity of US$309.4 million, or Rp5.49 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp17,740), for the first half of 2026. This represents an increase of 76.84% compared to the first half of 2025, when the figure stood at US$174.9 million.
Citing its financial report submitted through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) information disclosure system, ADRO posted revenue of US$999.2 million as of June 2026, up 16.50% from US$857.6 million in the first half of 2025. Meanwhile, cost of revenue rose only 0.55%, from US$573.4 million to US$576.5 million.
With revenue growth far outpacing the increase in cost of revenue, Alamtri Resources Indonesia’s gross profit climbed 48.69% to US$422.6 million, from US$284.2 million previously.
The company also managed to reduce operating expenses. Operating expenses were recorded at US$58.3 million, compared to US$60.3 million in the first half of 2025, a decline of 3.31%.
Meanwhile, other net income swung to a positive US$17.4 million, from a net expense of US$20.6 million previously.
As a result, Alamtri Resources Indonesia’s operating profit surged 87.76% to US$381.7 million in the first half of 2026, compared to US$203.3 million in the first half of 2025.
However, on the finance income side, the company recorded a decline. Finance income fell 48.47% to US$30.4 million, from US$59.06 million previously. Conversely, finance costs rose sharply by 206.62%, from US$9.7 million to US$29.7 million.
In addition, the contribution from the share of net profit of joint ventures also turned positive. In the first half of 2026, the company recorded a profit of US$33.5 million, whereas in the same period the previous year it recorded a loss of US$3.8 million.
Overall, profit before income tax reached US$415.9 million, growing 67.18% compared to US$248.8 million in the first half of 2025. Income tax expense increased 61.08%, from US$53.8 million to US$86.8 million. After accounting for tax, profit for the period still grew significantly by 68.87%, to US$329.1 million from US$194.9 million.
On the balance sheet, Alamtri Resources Indonesia’s total assets as of 30 June 2026 reached US$7.8 billion, an increase of 14.49% compared to the position on 31 December 2025 of US$6.8 billion.
