Al Hikmah Opens 2027/2028 New Student Admissions Simultaneously

The Al Hikmah Islamic Education Foundation in Surabaya has officially opened the Grand Opening series for the Al Hikmah New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the 2027/2028 academic year simultaneously on Friday (29/8/2026).

This new student intake covers all education levels under Al Hikmah, from Playgroup and Kindergarten (KBTK), Primary School, Junior High School, to Senior High School Al Hikmah Surabaya, as well as Junior and Senior High School Al Hikmah International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) Batu.

Chairman of the Al Hikmah Islamic Education Foundation Surabaya, Mohammad Zahri, stated that this simultaneous SPMB opening reflects Al Hikmah’s commitment to providing integrated Islamic education that excels academically, spiritually, and in character development.

“This SPMB Grand Opening is not merely the opening of registration. It is our momentum to introduce Al Hikmah’s 2027/2028 vision: To become a da’wah organisation managing Islamic education of international standard,” said Mohammad Zahri.

Through SPMB 2027/2028, Al Hikmah aims to recruit new students who possess a strong enthusiasm for learning and an Islamic personality. “The registration process, socialisation of flagship programmes, and campus tours will be open from 29 August 2026 at all school units,” he explained.

Several flagship programmes to be socialised, Zahri added, include: Qur’an memorisation (Tahfidz), bilingual classes, leadership training, research and science, as well as the boarding school programme at IIBS Batu which combines national and international curricula based on pesantren values.

“The foundation invites parents, prospective students, and the general public to attend the Grand Opening event at each school unit,” explained Mohammad Zahri.
